My writing career has run the gamut from blogging about the military for NPR, to working as a TV reporter in Reno, Nevada. I’ve been an on-air contributor to the true-crime CBS News television program NCIS: The Cases They Can’t Forget and the true-crime podcast 48 Hours. My work has also appeared in Bustle, Time, Mental_Floss, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and xoJane – where my personal essay about getting boob-shamed as a Jeopardy! contestant went viral.
